The fault in our mistakes

A little snippet of my thoughts 

The mistakes so happened as they were always supposed to be

The mistakes so happened as they were always meant to be

What could have happened if we would have just taken a moment to think before we acted?

Would things be still the way they are now?

Would things be the way like they always were?

Like all the moments filled with smiles and joy as they were

Like all the moments filled with innocence and harmless thoughts

If only we could not make the mistake of assuming things

If only we could save everything when it was needed the most

The only fault in our mistakes was that everything was unplanned for

What would have happened if only they were planned?

All the possible outcomes could have been known

All the possible happenings could have been stopped

The fault in our mistakes run so deep it only makes me think what could have possibly stopped us then

Now all that is remained is wishing and thinking

About all the moments and memories that could have been prolonged

Now all that has remained is the diplomatic answers that are given

Lost are the senseless thoughts and talks we shared

After so many years of making something meaningful all we are left with meaningless mistakes……
